LUSH Porridge And Fig & Leaves Soap

A 2 in 1 review today! I have been alternating between these two for the past month and thought I'd review them together as they are pretty similar to each other.

Left: New Fig & Leaves soap. Right: Used Porridge soap.

What's in it and what does it do?
Both Porridge and Fig & Leaves provide a gentle exfoliation without drying out the skin. Porridge initially feels quite scratchy for the first few uses which is a bit uncomfortable. Fig & Leaves on the other hand is super creamy and even more so moisturising than Porridge.

How much and how long?
Porridge is £2.95 for a 100g block and Fig & Leaves is £3.25 for a 100g block. Fig & Leaves will last you a tad longer as it doesn't break away as much as Porridge.

How does it smell?
Porridge smells very warm, sweet and comforting - It's probably the oat milk! Fig & Leaves reminds me of Spring and smells fresh/earthy and feminine - Think this may be the Ylang Ylang?

Other comments:
Would I buy this myself? I have bought Porridge before so yes. Fig & Leaves came as part of a Hatbox but I probably would buy this again, over Porridge!
Would I recommend it? Yes! I really like them both but would recommend Fig & Leaves more because of the creamy lather and gentle scent :)

Hmmm I might try Figs & Leaves! I admit I've not ordered from Lush recently though, I think their postage costs are well bad :( Not even going to buy Angels on Bare Skin anymore as it costs £4 for them to post me that little tub!

@Faye - Is there not a LUSH store near from you? I always prefer sniffing the products in person haha! x
