Happy Valentines Day!

Follow my blog with Bloglovin
So last year I missed out on Valentines by a week but this year I actually had a moment to spare to do my nails! I am surprised I haven't wrote about this colour before... It's a beautiful peachy pink polish which reminds me a little of Rimmel's Rose Libertine. Needs 2/3 coats but it's worth it :)

Products used:
- Orly Bonder
- Orly Pixy Stix
- Nail Art Nail Tattoos
- Heart rhinestones from Nailene Jewels & Gems Rhinestone Nail Art Kit
- Orly Sec 'n' Dry

The Lash Diary - Vintage Cosmetics Company Kitty

With the party season in full swing I have started making an effort with false eyelashes again! Like all of the original lashes that Vintage Cosmetics Company have on offer, Kitty is very lightweight and wearable.

Kitty has a thin, clear and flexible band which meant they stayed on perfectly for hours and gripped on perfectly throughout a blow dry! The picture of the boxed up lashes were taken after I wore them out - Bad blogger! ;)

As you can see Kitty adds a little bit of volume to your natural lashes and there is emphasis on the outer corners. It must be said, Connie remains my favourite out of the five! The eyelashes are priced at £6 and it seems VCC has come a long way since I last wrote about them as they are now stocked in 15 places, which you can find here :)

Fair Isle Nails

These are the nails I was sporting on Christmas Day... Very festive I am sure you will agree?! I love water decals for quick, detailed nails and decided that these ones were perfect for the holiday season with their reindeer stitch pattern. My Mother also got in on the act and requested the black print against a baby blue nail polish :)

- Save The Nail Repair & Rescue Treatment

Butterflies & Pearls

Not exactly the most appropriate title for a NOTD in December but still... The consistency of this polish is very thin and requires 2-3 coats for an opaque finish... Which seems to be quite a common trait with Orly polishes. As you can see, I paired up with a mix of pearls and rhinestones just to spruce it up a little! PS. I'll be doing a few NOTD's which are more in line with the party/Christmas season for the next few weeks :)

Products used:
- Save The Nail Repair & Rescue Treatment
- Orly Butterflies
* Pearls and pink rhinestones from Nailene Bedazzle Rhinestone Nail Art (sticker)
* Clear rhinestones from eBay

Get Them Before They Are Gone!

As soon as the email for the Haus of Gloi LE Christmas collection came out I instantly clicked on the link and placed my order - I was not going to miss it this time around! My goods, as always, arrived within about 10 days and I wanted to share them with you before they disappear from the website.

Whatever the scent the texture of their products always remains the same so I thought I'd let you know what I think of them instead of reviewing them individually... Seeing as they are LE anyway!
1 - Sweet Potato Treat = Gorgeous toasted (ever so slightly smoked) marshmallows!
2 - Fancy Bread = Initially it smells like banana milkshake but then you smell banana bread!
3 - Parkin = Smells like cooled down gingerbread men!

I believe they cost a $1 more than the usual range as they are only available for Christmas but as always, they are very much worth it!

I also placed an order from The Body Shop as they were having a 50% discount if you purchased 4 items. As I said I would, I immediately purchased their Vanilla & Tonka Bean candle! I have lit it already and I found that it takes a while for the scent to disperse all over the room. I was actually quite disappointed that the packaging on the outside was beautiful but inside it's just a plain candle within a plain glass - But at 50% off I'm not complaining too much.
I also bought my HG Cocoa Butter body scrub along with a Vanilla Bliss hand cream - Which is quite thick and smells gorgeous... Perfect for Winter! Oh and I got a pumice stone as it was only £2 but I was pleasantly surprised at how effective it works. So that's me done for a while.. Now time to buy Christmas presents for others! ;)
